Richard Bowles Memorial Scholarship
To commemorate the life and work of a beloved member of the Queensmen male chorus who shared his talents with us for nearly 50 years. Richard was a gentleman of sterling character who saw the goodness in everyone and who was dedicated to service through music as a soloist in Toronto and in the Islington United Church choir. Through his personal courage, he was an inspiration to those who were privileged to know him as friend and colleague. The Queensmen are proud to maintain his legacy through this award, granted annually to a deserving tenor or bass-baritone student at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto.
